Brand producing: Leolux

The beginnings: From ZNC to the Leolux brand
The success story began in 1934 in the Netherlands as the "Zuid-Nederlandse Clubmeubelfabriek," a subsidiary of the German Rhenania. After the turmoil of war and front-line production, Ton and Jan Sanders took over the factory in 1948 and opened its first modern showroom.

Design revolutions & classics
In the late 1950s, the founders were inspired by Italian and Danish trends – thus the Leolux brand was born, named after the lion (Latin "leo"). Creative campaigns and international exports in the 1960s laid the foundation for today's cult status.
Icons like the Pallone armchair (1989) showcase retro-futurism: playful and visionary. In the 1990s, the Papageno armchair with its sculptural aluminum legs set new standards.
Leolux today: Sustainability & Experience
Sebastiaan Sanders, the third generation, continues the tradition. In 2022, the Leolux Experience Center opened in Breukelen (NL) – 3,500 m² of lasting design and inspiration. For us at Revive, Leolux is a perfect fit: the highest quality meets sustainable reuse.
