Revive Behind the Scenes | Our team event: Wine hike

Our annual team event recently took place – and this time it was especially enjoyable: A wine hike through the picturesque Siebengebirge mountains was on the agenda! After intensive preparation – for which we would like to sincerely thank Virginia from the sales team – the event finally kicked off on Thursday, June 26th.

The Revive team started the morning at our showroom in Cologne-Lövenich and was provided with lovingly packed lunches . Our tour then began in Niederdollendorf around 10 a.m. We followed winding paths up into the vineyards , where a relaxing picnic with breathtaking views awaited us – accompanied, of course, by a fine glass or two of wine.

Picnic with wine
There's nothing like a picnic with wine!

The destination of the hike was Petersberg , a place steeped in history: This is where the Bonn Republic was proclaimed, ruled by Konrad Adenauer from 1949 to 1952. Upon reaching the top, the team enjoyed a special wine tasting with two delicious regional wines. They not only learned how diverse and exciting wine can taste, but also learned a wealth of interesting facts about its origins and production.

The day concluded with a leisurely hike back to Niederdollendorf, where the group concluded the day with a delicious barbecue on the Rhine. A thoroughly successful day that will surely be remembered for a long time.

Below this blog post you will find some nice impressions of our hike.
