The Revive Interior 10% Donation Pledge

As a young start-up, the social aspect of our company is very important to us. It starts with the fact that we breathe new life into used furniture and thus pursue a sustainable business model. When we were founded, we also decided to donate 10% of our profits to charitable causes.

Why are we donating?

Our goal is not to grow at the expense of our environment, but to get the ball rolling together with our environment. We are therefore very pleased that every entrepreneurial success also benefits the common good.

What are we donating?

Our 10% promise refers to our net annual profit, i.e. the gross profit after deducting all operating costs such as wages, rent, etc.. The donation amount is always determined according to the respective annual financial statements and ultimately consists of funds or donations in kind.

Where do we donate?

We racked our brains about this for a long time. The thought of donating to the big players wasn't transparent and personal enough for us. An honest and tangible flow of donations is very important to us. For this reason we have decided to work with smaller clubs and organizations. This gives us deep insights into the use of the funds and in some cases even a direct say in where our donation is used. We are currently looking back on great projects with the non-profit organizations Fly&Help, Vets Without Borders and the German Angel Initiative. Together, these organizations have received €20,000 in funding from us.

We have also been working with the Diakonie Michaelshoven for several years. We regularly provide the Diakonie with pieces of furniture - with a current value of over €28,000 - as a donation in kind. The donation value is made up of our purchase price. Our expenses for transport and processing are not included. donation receipts
