The right in the wrong

Did you know that the state of the world is sometimes reflected in a single living room?

"There is no right life in the wrong," at least that was the conclusion reached by the philosopher Theodor W. Adorno in 1944. One might think that this sentence was written in the context of a comprehensive social critique. What hardly anyone knows is that these words simultaneously describe the philosopher's sadness that the modern apartments somehow no longer seem quite so comfortable. During the 1960s, it was fashionable among students to quote such sentences in order to appear particularly profound and radical.

But now you know that even philosophers sometimes simply relate their big questions to the furnishing of their homes.

The right thing in the wrong— even 80 years later, this is a topic that concerns many people: How can we stop climate change? What does sustainability mean? And what options do I personally have to improve the world?

I dare say these are questions that have crossed your mind at some point, too. And the good news is: Revive enables you to contribute!
