A day at Revive: Our intern Hannah reports!

Do you remember your first student internship? It was a memorable experience that opened your eyes to new possibilities !

That's what happened to Hannah, the daughter of our accountant Dominik, who spent a day behind the scenes at Revive in February.

Hannah is in 8th grade and had to complete a one-day internship through school. "I found the editing of Revive particularly exciting because you can actively participate," she says.

Her day began with helping Ioannis with his coloring . Hannah even mixed her own color—a completely new experience for her. "Everyone was really nice and helpful. They showed me everything and introduced me to everyone. I immediately had a good overview," she says of her first impression of Revive.

Afterwards, she went to Ina, who introduced her to product photography . When asked if she had ever done photography before, Hannah said, "Not really, but it was cool to work with the lights and the right setup. It was also exciting to look over the shoulder of a professional photographer."

After the lunch break things got even more practical: a Multy sofa bed cushion was waiting for her in the sewing room - the perfect introduction to taking her first steps on the sewing machine . "Then the goal was to sew a Multy cushion - it's one of the easiest things to start with and it's a great fit because it's our perennial favorite," explains Kathrin, who was instructing Hannah. The first step was cutting the fabric, followed by a short introduction to the overlock machine , a special sewing machine used to neatly finish fabric edges. "First I had to choose the fabric, then trace the pattern and cut it out. Then I sewed the cushion together," explains Hannah.

At the end of her internship day, Hannah was able to experience a completely different side of Revive: "It was also cool to walk with the office dog, Sam!" And when asked if she envies her father a little for his office job, she laughs and replies: "Sitting in an office would be too boring for me. I thought it was much cooler to work hands-on!" A thoroughly successful day – and perhaps not Hannah's last visit to Revive. Who knows, maybe we'll soon have a new Multy cushion expert in the family!
