July marks the beginning of vacation season, for many the most wonderful time of the year and somehow also the most inspiring and colorful. It's often the time when we allow ourselves to be a little bolder. We wear colors that might have stayed in the closet on an ordinary day, buy a colorful vase while traveling that actually "doesn't quite match the rest", and find precisely that particularly beautiful. On vacation, we decide less by the question "Does this match perfectly now?" and more by "Does this make me happy?".

In my opinion, this feeling should be allowed to permeate our homes all year round. And right now, it's especially fun to let ourselves be inspired by patterns again.
