Between the years: a greeting from Paris

I am writing these lines to you with pen and paper from Paris.

I'm spending my Christmas vacation here this year. What a city, especially for me as a design enthusiast. You walk through streets where even the doors, railings, and café chairs look like someone put thought into their design. My personal highlights, however, were the Sacré-Cœur Basilica and a boat trip on the Seine at night.

Of course, I digitized the text later so you could read it. But originally, I was sitting in the lobby of a literary hotel at night with a cup of coffee and just wrote. Typical Paris. I've attached a photo!

I hope you enjoyed the Christmas season and are having a wonderful time between Christmas and New Year's. These days have a special quality: not quite the old, but not quite the new either. You look back, sort things out internally, and suddenly realize things you hardly notice in everyday life.
