- The base: The sofa rests on very delicate metal runners (sword-shaped runners) in a nickel-satin or stainless steel finish. These support the extremely flat base plate on which the cushions rest, creating the floating effect.
- The armrests: The most striking feature is the adjustable, functional armrests. They look like soft cushions that rest loosely on the surface, but are firmly attached and can be adjusted using a ratchet mechanism – flat as a reclining surface or folded up as a support.
- The backrest: The backrests appear slim and elegant. Here, too, a function is often concealed to manually adjust the tilt or headrest.
