ATBO Grand Piano: A sculptural homage to elegance

This sofa is far more than just a place to sit – it's a work of art in the room. The "Grand Piano" model from the Danish design brand ATBO impresses with its organic design, which truly evokes the curved body of a grand piano.

The sofa is upholstered in a luxurious velvet fabric in a muted green (reminiscent of sage or moss). The velvet lends the color a wonderful depth and, depending on the light, a soft shimmer that perfectly accentuates the curves of the piece. The design is unique: the backrest curves asymmetrically in a gentle wave. It begins high, embracing the sitter, then slopes down and tapers elegantly on the other side. This kidney-shaped silhouette creates an intimate, sheltered atmosphere.

The curved upholstered body is supported by slender, dark wooden legs (or black lacquered legs) that taper to a point. These give the sofa a firm base and emphasize the light, almost floating character of the design, which seems strongly inspired by the Art Deco style.
