This very comfortable armchair was designed by Charles Pollock for Comforto and produced by Knoll. It is upholstered in beautiful brown leather with a lovely patina. The armchair is in vintage condition, as shown. The leather is still in very good condition. The armchair swivels.

Pollock, who worked in George Nelson’s office after graduating from Pratt Institute, was valued by Florence Knoll for his exceptional talent. His Directional Chair is considered one of Knoll's most iconic designs, characterized by an aluminum frame that supports the seat and back both visually and structurally. Manufactured by Knoll according to the designer's original and strict specifications. With a five-year manufacturer's warranty. Made in the USA. The lowered front edge of the seat and the contoured backrest ensure long-lasting comfort.
