COR Trio: The Freedom of Change

With the "Trio" model from the manufacturer COR, you're bringing a true design classic into your home. Designed in 1973, this sofa embodies casual living like almost no other: away from formal seating, towards comfortable lounging on the floor.

The sofa is upholstered in a high-quality, dark gray fabric. This shade is not only timelessly elegant but also incredibly practical for everyday use, as it brings a sense of calm to the room. The design is distinctive: it consists of three basic elements (seat block, backrest, corner armrest) combined here to create a spacious corner solution. The design language is strictly cubic and low to the ground, which gives the room a pleasing sense of openness, as no high backrests obstruct the view.

The most striking detail is the double outer seam (piping), which traces the contours of the individual blocks like a drawing and underscores the high quality of craftsmanship. The design invites creativity: the backrests rest loosely (but are non-slip thanks to a special underside), allowing you to vary the seat depth or even convert the elements into a guest bed. On the left side, the open ottoman offers plenty of space to put your feet up.

COR represents a clear, contemporary approach to German furniture design, characterized since 1954 by a keen appreciation for materials and meticulous craftsmanship. The designs combine meticulous handcraftsmanship with an openness to new living concepts, while remaining consistently functional, durable, and understated in expression. In a personal meeting with COR's Managing Director, Leo Lübke, he described COR's values as "Close. Fresh. Substance." A wonderfully fitting description, we think. COR furniture brings precisely this blend of character and everyday practicality to living spaces, providing a solid foundation for timeless interiors and making it particularly suitable for rooms where quality is valued and appreciated.
