The De Sede DS-47 armchair is an absolute icon of Swiss furniture design and the epitome of rustic high-end luxury. In a distinctive, warm brown, this vintage masterpiece captivates with its unmistakable patina and the incomparable quality for which De Sede is world-renowned.
The absolute unique selling point of the legendary DS-47 family is the use of extremely thick, robust neck leather, which can be up to 5 mm thick. The distinctive creases in the leather are no accident, but a deliberate and masterful design feature: they come from a single piece of leather that is artfully draped over the curves of the armchair without visible seams. This gives each model the character of an absolutely unique piece.
The integrated manual function is as ingenious as it is subtly solved: by a simple, light pull on the seat, it can be extended forward. This noticeably increases the seat depth, and the seat inclines ergonomically backwards. In this way, the already comfortable armchair is transformed in an instant into a luxurious lounge and reclining oasis that invites hours of relaxation.
