Der Rocky von IP Design ist ein Sessel, der Emotion und Technik zusammenbringt. Die geschlossene Rückenschale mit den integrierten Armlehnen zieht sich in einer einzigen hohen Linie nach oben und vermittelt beim Sitzen ein ausgeprägtes Gefühl von Geborgenheit. Der Entwurf stammt von Prof. Stefan Heiliger — und dass er vor seiner Selbstständigkeit über ein Jahrzehnt lang für Mercedes-Benz gestaltet hat, sieht man dem Sessel an: Die geschwungenen Armlehnen und das Rundrohrgestell haben etwas ausgesprochen Automobiles. Das schwarze Leder unterstreicht diesen technischen Charakter, ohne kalt zu wirken.

Der Komfort steckt komplett in der Mechanik. Die Rückenlehne verstellst du stufenlos — kein Rasten, kein Einklicken, sondern eine fließende Bewegung in jede beliebige Position. Unter der Sitzfläche verbirgt sich zusätzlich eine Bein- und Fußauflage, die sich bei Bedarf ausziehen lässt und den Sessel in eine flache Liege verwandelt. Eingefahren bleibt davon nichts sichtbar. Auch die Kopfstütze lässt sich in der Höhe anpassen. Dank seiner schmalen Abmessungen findet der Rocky dabei selbst dort Platz, wo ein klassischer Relaxsessel zu wuchtig wäre.
