Dieser runde Couchtisch bringt die Ruhe des skandinavischen Mid-Century-Designs ins Wohnzimmer. Was ihn ausmacht, ist die Konstruktion des Untergestells: Zwei gebogene Kufenbügel greifen über Kreuz ineinander und tragen die Platte an vier Punkten. Von jeder Seite ergibt sich dadurch ein anderes Bild — mal sieht man den geschlossenen Bogen, mal den offenen Durchblick. Diese Art, Statik sichtbar zu machen statt sie zu verstecken, ist typisch für die Werkstätten dieser Zeit.

Die Platte ist aus mehreren massiven Leisten verleimt, sodass die Maserung in langen, unterschiedlich gerichteten Bahnen über die Fläche läuft. Ihre Kante ist rundum weich abgerundet und leicht unterschnitten, was der ordentlichen Materialstärke die Schwere nimmt. Der warme, honigbraune Ton passt zu hellen wie zu dunklen Sofas und macht den Tisch zum verbindenden Element in einem Raum, in dem sonst Stoff und Metall dominieren.
