Das Rolf Benz 1600 trägt die Handschrift von Stefan Heiliger und fällt durch seine dynamische, fast futuristische Form sofort ins Auge. Uns fasziniert an diesem Entwurf besonders der Übergang von den flügelartig ausgestellten Armlehnen in die geschwungenen Füße in Aluminium-Optik — diese Linie zieht sich wie ein Bogen durch das ganze Möbel und hält den Korpus sichtbar über dem Boden. Das helle Leder nimmt der markanten Silhouette jede Schwere und lässt das Sofa auch in kleineren Räumen luftig wirken.

Die manuelle Funktion des 1600 erlaubt dir, die Sitzfläche in Sekunden zu erweitern: Die seitlichen Lehnen lassen sich nach unten klappen, wodurch aus dem Sofa eine durchgehende Liegefläche wird. Aufgestellt hast du eine klar gefasste Sitzposition, heruntergeklappt eine Lounge-Insel zum Langmachen. Das helle Leder ist Rolf-Benz-typisch sauber verarbeitet und im Alltag angenehm dankbar.
