The Rolf Benz 6500 could certainly be described as a milestone in German furniture history. As one of the few German upholstered furniture designs, it has made it into the prestigious design collection of the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York. The 6500 was designed in the 80s by Mathias Hoffmann, and it has that very special look that simply doesn't age.

The striking, cubic silhouette of the black leather appears extremely present and commanding in the room due to its low-slung form. The leather is robustly crafted, typical of Rolf Benz, and creates an exciting contrast to the chrome details.

Thanks to the integrated mechanism, the backrests can be flexibly raised. This adjustment function allows you to easily switch from a low-profile look to a position with a high back, which provides significantly more support when you're sitting.
