Mit diesem 2er Set bekommst du zwei baugleiche AK 644 Sessel aus derselben Fertigung. Das Modell stammt aus einer Zeit, in der Rolf Benz auf Präsenz statt auf Zurückhaltung setzte, und man sieht ihm diese Herkunft aus den 80ern und 90ern bis heute an. Sein Erkennungsmerkmal sind die Armlehnen: breite, kubische Blöcke, auf denen ein flaches Polster wie eine zweite Ebene aufliegt. Diese Abstufung nimmt der scharfen Kante die Härte und wiederholt sich im niedrigen Sockel darunter.

Das schwarze Glattleder ist rundum bezogen, sodass sich beide Sessel frei im Raum aufstellen lassen. Getragen wird der massive Baukörper von schlanken, flachen Metallfüßen an den Außenecken, die einen kühlen Kontrast zum dunklen Leder setzen. Innen bekommst du eine großzügige, tief geschnittene Sitzfläche mit lose aufliegendem Kissen. Als Paar einander gegenübergestellt bilden die beiden eine in sich geschlossene Sitzgruppe, die kein zusätzliches Sofa braucht — und weil sie aus derselben Charge stammen, stimmen Lederton und Patina wirklich überein.
